Forschungsschwerpunkte
My research focus is the ecology and habitat use of birds. Mainly, I want to know how land management influences the habitat conditions and food sources of wetland species. I am interested in the area of conflict between habitat conservation and interests of farmers, especially for protected bird species that depend on human management.
In the project PaludiZentrale, I will analyse the effects on biodiversity of rewetting drained mires and the implementation of different paludicultures.
